SATURDAY JUNIOR WINTER COMPETITION INFORMATION 2025
Tallebudgera Netball Club plays and trains at Hinterland District Netball Association, Firth Park, Somerset Drive, Mudgeeraba. Training is after school on Monday afternoons.
Teams play competitive rounds starting from 9.50am at 55 minute intervals. A player’s age is determined based on their age as at 31 December of that year. Please note that Junior players may only register in their own age group (they may not register in the age group above). However, the Intermediate teams can be a mixed age group from 14 to 18 years.
Boys up to 12 years are eligible to play (mixed rules do not apply to this age group).
Boys 13 to 14 years are eligible to play (mixed rules will apply and their division is classed as mixed).
Boys cannot play once they have turned 15.
Representative Players in Junior Teams
As per HDNA By-laws 20 October 2021 “8.2 Junior Competition (d) Any team comprising of three (3) or more HDNA representative players may be required to compete in the highest available division of that grade for that Club, or the next higher grade”.
The Junior Competition is for players aged 11 years to 18 years.
11 years born 2014, 12 years born 2013, 13 years born 2012, 14 years born 2011, 15 years born 2010, 16 years born 2009, 17 years born 2008 and 18 years born 2007.
18 year olds must be attending secondary school and will be required to present to HDNA a copy of their student ID.

- HDNA Grading Games commence on Saturday 1 March 2025
- Games will be played from 9.50am then every 55 minutes

SATURDAY JUNIOR WINTER COMPETITION FEES 2025
Junior – 11 years to 18 years – $360
These fees include insurance, fees payable to HDNA and Netball Queensland, umpire fees and a club member fee. They help contribute towards individual/team photos and trophies. Please note, if teams choose to play in carnivals, those teams will be required to pay extra umpire and carnival entry fees.
Payment must be made online when you register. Players must be registered before taking the Court for Grading Games.
All registrations are processed through NetballConnect. If you are new to NetballConnect you will need to create a new user account.
To create a new user account on your phone – download the NetballConnect app either via App Store (for Iphones) or Play Store (for Android).
To create a new user account on your computer – when you click on the registration link that will be be emailed to you it will prompt you to create an account.
NEW PLAYERS
If your child/children would like to play with Tallebudgera Netball Club please email the Club at contact@tallebudgeranetball.org and state the name/s, date/s of birth and if they have played netball before.

GRADING
It is Club policy that junior players aged 11 to 18 that have enough players registered to form 2 or more teams will be subject to Club grading before teams are announced. This is to ensure that team members are playing with and competing against players of similar skill levels.
This does not apply to the Monday night or Tuesday Twilight competitions.
